Hello Guys,

Wondering if I can get some help with the latest news section on the following website.

Its an interesting issue. As I use post excerpt thumbnail picture in the following section, but if there isn't a picture it leaves a small box, but the box only appears on Chrome, IE, but not firefox.

backend:

<h4>[post_title]</h4><img src="[post_thumb]" style="float:left;padding-right:5px;" height="42" width="42" /> by [post_author] - [post_date]<br/>[post_excerpt length="100"] &nbsp;<a href="[post_permalink]">Read more..</a>

What I have noticed that the code generated creates a empty src:
<img src="" style="float:left;padding-right:5px;" height="42" width="42" /> by jrowse - 11-01-2011<br/>After all the back and forth we are finally heading out to race to Costa Rica tomorrow. The start is... &nbsp;<a href="http://realitysailing.com/?p=184" >Read more..</a>

Anything ideas will be helpful.

Well, I was able to set some time aside to look into it, and I can't duplicate the issue the way your describing. The [post_thumb] works for all three browsers (chrome, firefox, & IE) on my end. It might not even be an issue with the plugin...but where are you trying to insert the post list?

That is interesting, I had disabled all plugins and ran browserlab by Adobe on All Chrome, IE, but not Firefox. and found it to be still there. Also, the template doesn't contain any borders for tables or such as they weren't neeeded.

I insert the post list directly onto the page using the short code: [post_list name="pageContentDivided_6"]

Any recommendations for troubleshooting, I'm kinda at my last with this. Its the weirdest of things, I've tried to change the border all around but unable to and I can't find the source for it either.

lol oh man its a dozzi .. Thanks again.

It could be a number of things that could be causing the issue. It could be something conflicting in the WordPress database (possibly non-deleted plugin options), could be other plugins conflicting with it (which you already tested this theory), or it could be a priory issue (but you have this in the page/post, so no problem there). To name a few. Unfortunately, I can't replicate certain issues in some situations, especially if it is an issue that exists outside the APL plugin.

Right now, the only thing i can think of next, is checking the WordPress database and how the image is being grabbed.
